Project Description
Our client needed to make 2 animations explaining Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder and the role of the OTOF gene in hearing loss. Their aim was to educate parents of children with hearing loss on the possible genetic cause and testing options. They wanted the animations to be consistent in style with their existing educational materials.
Our Solution
We incorporated their existing visuals into the storyboards, modifying them as needed, and applied their established color palette to our work. We ensured accuracy by consulting the literature and then simplified our own depictions to facilitate readability by the general public. It was important to visualize the content clearly one step at a time to ensure the lay viewer would be able to easily follow the material.
Results & Impact
The animations served as effective tools in workshops and online platforms, enhancing understanding among diverse audiences.
