Project Description
HYDRINITY™, a cosmeceutical skincare brand, needed a full-page magazine advertisement that could visually explain the science behind their dual-weight hyaluronic acid formulation — a mechanism typically communicated in clinical literature, reframed here for a consumer audience.
The illustration needed to convey how high molecular weight (HMW) and low molecular weight (LMW) hyaluronic acid work at different depths of the skin — from surface hydration and moisture barrier protection to deep dermal penetration, fibroblast stimulation, and collagen and elastin production. Scientific accuracy was required to support product claims. Visual atmosphere was required for it to function as advertising.
Our Solution
Kryski Biomedia produced a multi-panel MOA-style illustration depicting the full mechanism across skin layers — from epidermis to dermis — showing the contrast between aging skin with degraded collagen and elastin fibers and renewed skin following treatment. The work also visualised the molecular weight differentiation of the HA chains and the role of PPM6 peptide technology in inhibiting progerin production and neutralising free radicals.
The illustrations were developed to the standard of scientific accuracy required for cosmeceutical advertising while being composed and styled for consumer engagement in a full-page print and digital format.
